2025 US Government TechGirls Summer Exchange Program: A Gateway for Young Women in STEM

The U.S. Government’s TechGirls Summer Exchange Program offers a unique and enriching opportunity for young women aged 15 to 17 from around the globe.

This fully funded initiative aims to empower participants by enhancing their skills and encouraging them to explore higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

What is the TechGirls Program?

Founded in 2012, the TechGirls program has trained more than 650 teenage girls to pursue their passions. Initially focused on Middle Eastern and North African nations, the program expanded in 2022 to include talented young women from diverse regions worldwide.

Participants engage in hands-on skills development while immersing themselves in U.S. culture and STEM opportunities.

The core of the program revolves around a 24-day experience in the United States. Participants will collaborate with Virginia Tech in a dynamic TechCamp that delves into advanced technologies and various education and career paths available in the STEM fields.
